Do you want to help create joy in movement, community, and contribute to better public health? Enskede-Årsta-Vantör's district administration is now opening a Leisure Bank – an initiative that gives more residents the opportunity to try various leisure and sports activities and find their way to an active leisure time.
We are looking for two engaged, creative, and outgoing leisure leaders who want to make a real difference in people's everyday lives. With us, you will be involved from the start, develop the operations, and meet residents of all ages. With your commitment and competence, you will contribute to increased participation, movement, and quality of life in the district. Do you recognize yourself? Your role
As a leisure leader at the Leisure Bank, you are responsible for creating a welcoming, safe, and inspiring environment for our visitors and borrowers. You guide them in choosing equipment and encourage an active and healthy lifestyle.
Your tasks include, among others:
- Receiving, quality-checking, and if necessary, performing simple repairs of sports and leisure equipment, such as waxing skis and sharpening skates.
- Registering and documenting equipment in the Leisure Bank's lending system and ensuring that all equipment is ready for lending.
- Planning and implementing activities and events that strengthen the Leisure Bank's presence and role in the district.
- Collecting sports and leisure equipment from individuals, associations, and organizations to build and maintain a wide range of offerings.
- Providing information and guiding visitors to nearby sports and leisure activities.
- Being responsible for order, signage, and staffing of the premises, as well as handling incoming emails and orders together with colleagues.
The work also involves working every other Saturday.
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- Education as a leisure leader.
- A strong commitment to people, good communication skills, and a welcoming attitude.
- An interest in learning simple repairs of sports and leisure equipment.
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Basic digital skills and experience working with the Office suite.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience working in a politically governed organization.
- Experience planning and implementing events or activities.
- Experience collaborating with civil society, such as associations and non-profit organizations.

Enskede Årsta Vantör is one of 11 district administrations in Stockholm City. As part of Stockholm City, the administration offers preschool and leisure, care for the elderly and people with disabilities, social services, preventive and safety-enhancing work, urban development, and park maintenance to our 105,000 residents living in the district. We face exciting challenges as the Enskede Årsta Vantör district grows and entirely new neighborhoods are built. Approximately 18,000 new apartments are planned by 2030.
